Buying a bike off eBay or online??
For a fixed price of £95 we’ll visit the seller (within 20 miles of Yeovil) at a prearranged time and conduct a thorough inspection of the bike and email you a completed report.
You’ll need to contact the seller before booking our services and get agreement for us to attend. Once with the bike, we’ll give it the full “white glove” treatment and email you a report detailing it’s overall condition. Obviously, we won’t tell the seller what we find - but you’ll be safe in the knowledge that your potential purchase is what it claims to be and you’ll be in the know when it comes to any bartering - should you wish to do so.
Our Condition Report will cover, amongst other things: Oil and Fluids condition, Chain and Sprockets, Tyre and Brake wear. Fork Seal condition. Wheel, Swingarm, Shock Linkage and Head stock bearings. Lights, Fairings & general wear and tear. We’ll test any accessories such as Sat Nav’s, Luggage and any Aftermarket fitted gizmos. to make sure they’re working as advertised. Images of the Service History, Owners Pack and any paperwork will be provided and we’ll send over plenty of images of any defects we might find,
Included is a basic HPI-style Report detailing any outstanding finance or previous insurance-related claims against the vehicle. We’ll also verify the details of the online listing if you provide us with a web link.
